First, although we do recognize a First Amendment right to express discontent with what a speaker is saying, when jeering and heckling occurs not just in between the speaker’s utterances, but during each of them, they seem to us different in kind from speech to merely express the heckler’s contrarian point of view, and cross over into interference with, indeed the silencing of, another speaker’s expression.
